As I hang out in bars, one of the things I'm trying to understand, the people that swoop in, make a statement by buying ten people (that they've never met) drinks and the never talking to them again.
I've never understood that all inclusive gesture followed by the I don't want to talk to you any more moment.
The use of wealth has always fascinated me. I guess it's one of the things that comes along with this city, the exposure to it. The fact that it no longer effects me. I just find it odd. The most amazing people I know would never have to prove themselves in that manner, mostly priding themselves on their unassuming nature.
