I think it’s important to make resolutions that can be kept, so instead of the wishful thoughts most people make. I’m going to keep it real.
1. Buy a KitchenAid Mixer. Yes. I’ve been wanting one for ages.
2. Write, write, write.
3. Finish my novel.
4. Finish another play.
5. Finish furnishing my apartment, the end of a two year project; that has involved getting furniture custom made in both Brazil and Africa.
6. Have a party for everyone.
There I said it. This year, 2006 will be a year that I look to the future and finish with the past. Thank goodness. I’ve grown up, what a strange little feeling.
the kitchen aid mixer WINS!! im the proud owner of a white K5SS with dough hook, splash guard, wire whip and paddle since 1978 (making me older than 37). i tried driving a steak thru its heart, and it wont die. as long as they make alternating current, it will serve you well and will outlive most parrots and sequoias. leave it in your will to the grandkids of the guy featured in your most recent walk on the bi side (http://gayguy.blogs.com/bloging_new_york_one_bad_/2006/01/the_straight_gu.html).
