Or maybe it’s like finding yourself in front of a bus full of Japanese school girls, somehow I’m naked. They giggle and point.
So why do I do it? Well because I’m bored of one-night stands. They are hot. Yet i'm only willing, to go so far, on a one nighter. Then there is my constant need to be pet, I like it when someone plays with my hair. I’ve never been on a one-night stand where the guy’s played with my hair. I like holding hands, I’m a sucker when someone reaches over and grabs it.
So that is how I begin, a Blog to chronicle New York dating. After all it is a special kind of love. A love which offers too many choices, not enough commitment and way too many ex-boyfriends. So Dating is fun actually, I’ve meet a lot of interesting people, the parties are great. I have stories to tell friends.
A while back a guy asked me to meet him for a drink, “at his place.” I normally say no, preferring a more public venue, just in case they turn into an axe murder; it’s possible on the first date, I never know. He finally convinced me with a lure - lots of free vodka. I meet him at his East Side Brownstone. Actually it was two Brownstones, two houses completely gutted then joined together. The kitchen was the size of my apartment, there was a solarium on the roof. I’ve never been inside a house with its own elevator. It’s too bad his personality reminded me of a gnat. Not even a nice gnat, a brown really sad scrawny gnat.

Carrie would call Samantha, ditch the guy, and go get a Manhattan at a swank trendster bar downtown. :-)
